In Pakistan we have partnered with Ministry of Housing and Works and the Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) Foundation to build 5 lac homes across different areas of Pakistan. The first such project is for the Fishermen Community of Gwadar.
Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) Foundation is a Public Company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. As one of the leading implementation arms for the Ministry of Housing & Works, PHA Foundation is consistently striving to eliminate homelessness and reduce the housing shortfall in Pakistan. PHA Foundation’s mission is to provide high quality buildings at low and affordable prices.
PHA Foundation provides low cost housing units to low and middle-income populations of Pakistan on an ownership basis finance model. Since its inception in 1999, PHAF has built several housing units for general public and Federal Government Employees at prime locations in both Federal and Provincial Capitals.
After successful provision of Ground plus 3 building apartments, PHA Foundation is now striving to also construct high rise buildings and has initiated projects for provision of houses and open plots. PHA Foundation currently has regional offices established in Lahore and Karachi.
Ministry of Housing & Works
The Ministry of Housing and Works Pakistan focuses on the management of Federal Lodges, matters relating to Federal Government lands, licenses to various cooperative housing societies in Karachi, registrations related to Pakistan’s Housing Authority, National Construction Limited and Housing Foundation.
